Sydney Diaries: My Point Of View

October 15, 2017 Sydney NSW, Australia

Hey, mates! Would you believe that's it's already been 3 weeks since I moved here in this lovely city of Sydney? For sure, time flies when you're 3 hours ahead of everyone you know, hahaha. So this is what it's like living in a different time zone. So anyway, I haven't had the thought of blogging for like a month (maybe more), and I blame Kdrama and 지창욱! Obviously, I'm not sure how or where to start.

If you're following me on Twitter, you know I have been meaning to "try" solo travel for my 24th birthday. It was the main goal I had for this year. I was already scheduled to go backpacking in the region of Ilocos last September until I heard the news that my visa to Sydney got approved and I had to leave as soon as possible. That was a major change of plans. First time out of the country, first time traveling solo. I have to say, this is a pretty huge step for me and I am proud of myself for making it this far.

So, Sydney, the beautiful and sunny Australia.  I arrived here late September, just in time for spring. The climate is nice and cool, which I totally like and I can totally get used to. Aside from the beautiful brick buildings and the brick pavements, I also love Sydney Train! (I'm weird like that) I'm so jealous of their transport system, I wish we had that in the Philippines. Then we can finally get rid of the traffic jams. Also, the food is exquisite!  I can't stop eating, you guys. I spend all of my money on food and nothing else. And oh! The Harbour Bridge is quite a sight, I still get astonished as if I'm seeing it for the first time, even though I have seen it 5 times already.

So far, I have just been around the city, but I'm never going to miss the chance to go to other top destinations in Sydney. I can't find more words to describe how much beautiful this city is, so I'll leave you hanging and enjoy the beautiful photos of Sydney from my point of view.

I'm thrilled to tell you more about my new adventure, do stay tuned for more Sydney Diaries.
